The short version: if you ask for a guide, we keep your name and email address so we can send it, plus occasional emails about tools we’ve tested. You can unsubscribe with one click. We never sell or rent your details.
Who we are
This website, ninjabusiness.info, is run by Ninja Business. For anything to do with your data, email hello@ninjabusiness.info.
What we collect and why
- When you ask for a free guide: your first name and email address. We use them to send the guide, then occasional emails with tips and tools we’ve tested. We only email you after you confirm your address by clicking the link in our first email.
- When you email us: your email address and whatever you write, so we can reply.
- When you comment on or message our Facebook Page: Facebook shows us your public name, your comment and your message. We use them to send what you asked for. Facebook’s own privacy policy covers how Facebook handles your data.
- When you visit this website: our web host records standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working. We don’t currently use analytics or advertising trackers. If we add them, we’ll list them here first.
The services we use
A few companies handle data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Systeme.io: our email list, sign-up pages and emails.
- Namecheap: hosts this website and our email.
- Meta (Facebook): our Facebook Page and messages.
- Google Fonts: the fonts on this site load from Google, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
Some of these companies are based outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. They use their own safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, when transferring personal data.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site and in our emails are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you.
When you click an affiliate link, you go to the other company’s website, which may set its own cookies to record that you came from us. Its privacy policy applies from that point. Some programmes show us limited details about customers we refer, such as the email address used to sign up. We use that only to confirm commissions.
Cookies
This website itself only uses cookies needed to run it, such as the ones that keep site administrators logged in and remember your cookie choice. Sites you reach through our links may set their own cookies.
How long we keep it
- Email list: until you unsubscribe. After that, we keep only a record that you unsubscribed, so we don’t email you again by mistake.
- Emails and messages: for as long as we need them to deal with your question, and no longer than two years.
- Server logs: for the period our host keeps them, usually a few weeks.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what we hold about you and send you a copy;
- correct it, or delete it;
- stop emailing you (or just use the unsubscribe link in any email).
Email hello@ninjabusiness.info and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you’re not happy with our answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office in the UK, the data protection authority in your EU country, or the National Privacy Commission in the Philippines.
Children
This site and our emails are for adults running or starting a business. We don’t knowingly collect details from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use your data, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
